Restructuring over slump in gun sales which they may not pull out of.
Won?t be the first time a large firearm company slid into the abyss...

Their guns have been getting a lot of bad reviews lately. I wouldn't buy
one just based on that.

I have a Remington Jam-o-matic. The 7600 in 30.06. Was famous for
jamming. Is a safe queen for years. When new, the casing jammed and
ripped the bolt face out. Warranty repair. Later case jam and ripped a
slot in the head with the ejector. Was raining during the pig hunt.
Warranty station said was rust that caused jam. I told them bull****, as
I left the casing in the rifle and was not rusty before. Wanted a
replacement and Remington refused. So why would I buy another Remington
arms? Bad service ****es off customers.

They must have really slipped. I have a Remington pump 22rf that has
been a tack driver for well over a half a century. I never had any
kind of problem with it. My ex has an 1100 from the days when that was
the gold standard for SA shotguns. She has shot thousand of rounds out
of it and I never saw a malfunction. In the skeet league we were
shooting 3 or 4 boxes a night once a week for 20 weeks a year.
That was just league night, not other times we were there.
