When my former FIL's dog was sick he made a food of cooked chicken
breast and rice mashed up in a blender. It was supposed to be the
easiest thing to digest but that was before the days of designer dog
food.
We did the same. Boiled the chicken breast. She seems to prefer Costco rotisserie chicken sans rice
to Perdue breast with rice.
He baked the chicken. I think boiling may be too much.
