200,000 employees will each receive a $1,000 bonus at AT&T.

(It's a bit unusual for a public company to do this as the fiduciary
responsibility of management and the Board of Directors is to the
shareholders, not necessarily the employees.Â* Good call, AT&T !)

AT&T also committed to investing a billion dollars in the USA in 2018.

"Employees of the No. 2 U.S. wireless carrier who will receive the
bonus are all “union-represented, non-management and front-line
managers,” AT&T said in a statement. The company has more than
250,000 employees in all. A person briefed on the matter said the
bonuses will cost the company about $230 million."

Â*Â*Meanwhile, at Boeing:

"Aerospace company Boeing Co (BA.N) also said on Wednesday it would
invest $300 million in workforce training and facilities
enhancements for employees as its CEO lauded the tax bill."

The two announcements gave at least some support to claims by Trump
and fellow Republicans that their tax bill, which cuts the
corporate tax rate to 21 percent from 35 percent, would lead to
more investment by U.S. companies.

How big are the "management" bonuses?

The article did not mention anything about management bonuses.

I'll quote again from the article:

"Employees of the No. 2 U.S. wireless carrier who will receive the
bonus are all “union-represented, non-management and front-line
managers,” AT&T said in a statement."

Wow. That's $20 a week over a 50-week work year. So, what will be
AT&T's take from the Trump tax scam?

Keep going.Â* You sound just like Schumer and Pelosi.

Schumer was bitching about AT&T as soon as this was announced.
(Of course ... they made Trump look good)

The Democratic Party has done a good job in flooding the media daily
with anti-Republican, anti-Trump crap for over a year now but despite
having absolutely *zero* support from them, Trump is methodically
achieving his campaign promises, some easily, some not so easily, but
he's chipping away at them. Impressive for a guy who has no political
experience.

I can completely understand how you and your ilk feel.Â* It must make you
want to run outside and yell your brains out.

Nah. I'm simply marking time until the explosion.
