We could say that about a lot of things that have crept into
curriculums. At a certain point things like "environmentalism" have
become more of a religion than science.
"Recycling" would be a good example. It is not economically valid and
the ecological benefits are dubious in a lot, if not most, cases.
How is it ecologically sound for them to truck my empty plastic
bottles 1500 miles to a Trex factory when they already have more than
they need from local sources? They just end up in a land fill
somewhere along the way.
