In a 'pack' of 20 boats, Alien was faster than all, yet, there's no boats
behind you?
BTW, I would call that close reaching, not close hauled. And that looks
like a lot of twist, of is the main just that blown out?

Started out at 3:30, NO WIND. Loafed around in light air for an hour and
then
SLAM, we got steady air and big puffs to follow. Just beautiful and the
boat
sails beautifully. We were in a pack of more than 20 boats, all sailing
back
towards the bridges from Execution Rock. Close hauled, Alien was faster
than
all, except for a J27 (I think) with orange sails! The wind held out until
about 8:30 or so....
A great sail!!! We can't wait until tomorrow!
