Putting aside all the controversy, it was great to see the Patriots
victorious again last night in the informal "rematch" of last year's

The come from behind win in the 2017 Superbowl was one for the record books.

Belichick:

"Tom, it's the end of the third quarter.
We're losing 23 to 3. You need a field
goal, two touchdowns and two, two point
conversions to take the game to overtime.
Looks like it's impossible."

Brady:

"Hold my beer."

Gosh... I missed the Stupor Bowl and Stupor Bowl Redux... ?

It seems your only interest in the NFL is watching the players who
disrespect the flag and the president. Once the anthem is over you
switch to MSNBC reruns.

Let me reiterate for the record how much of a pro football fan I am not.
Some decades ago, I had a buddy who played for the Redskins. He was an
All-Pro and had two Superbowl rings. Our friendship was totally outside
of football. Even though he offered me game tickets, I never went,
because I didn't want to let pro football, a sport I do not like, get in
the middle of our buddydom. After a decent career, 10 or 12 years, he
and his family moved to another part of the country.
