I had one big oak limb snap off, and the top break out of a small

since I'm off work today, I took it to the yard trash compactor at the
trash/recycling station.Â* When it was my turn, I pulled up and started
to unload.Â* After a couple of pieces, a lady appeared and started
helping me.Â* I told her I appreciated it, but she didn't have to do
that.Â* She just smiled and said neighbors helping neighbors.Â* We
finished with mine, so I pulled up a bit and she pulled her truck up,
filled with limbs as well.Â* We went to work on hers, and a really old
guy started walking over with bags of debris.Â* I helped him with a
couple, and then a middle aged black guy helped him with his last two
and started helping us.Â* The three of us finished up, thanked each
other, and left.
That's the South I live in.Â* It's really different than some would
have you believe.
1. a lady appeared...Â*Â*Â*Â*Â*Â* white lady?
2. really old guy...Â*Â*Â*Â*Â*Â*Â* white guy?
3. middle-aged black guyÂ*Â*Â* not a white guy?
Why didn't you ID the first two "helpers" by race?
Because you completely missed the point of his post.
He's a tedious old fool. But he does have the best, most meticulous workmen to perform the work around his house.
