We are only a few miles from there - heavy rain and gusty winds most
of the day but seems like it is beginning to slack off a bit. We
received a tornado alert on my wife's cell phone at 4:00 in the
morning but nothing came of it of course. I'm hoping we'll be able to
drive back home in the morning, stay tuned. Power still off and
likely to stay that way for the duration.
Fingers crossed..

Thanks. The ride back home yesterday was "interesting." Central
Florida is very rural and they got a lot more wind and rain than they
are used to. Many of the back roads were down to a single lane
because of tree debris and there was some minor flooding due to
drainage issues. All of the traffic lights were out, some manned by
police officers but most not. People were treating traffic lights as
a 4 way stop and that usually worked out OK.
