My experience with USCG cutters has been mixed, i.e., sometimes they
transmit, sometimes they don't. Too bad you didn't get to see them
going through the canal. That's an ideal viewing spot.


We'll catch it on one of his patrols. I am currently living about 16
miles from the canal and can be there quickly.
