It's part of the job of being a general news reporter.
One of the job requirements then seems to be idiocy.
There's nothing new about reporters going on in storms to do their jobs.
Be idiot enough to stand in a hurricane force wind for a photo op. Get s
stop sign in the body. Get a tree branch stuck in you. At leas the ABC
guy was smart enough to broadcast from a building protected area. Was his
reporting less because he did not stand in a wind tunnel?
Reporters are driven to bring the news to the public, whether that means
standing out in a storm, going to a war zone, or covering a Trump rally.
