I trailered my pontoon boat to St Pete with the cover on it when I
first got the boat. (75-80 MPH) Shortly after that I threw away the
cover because here in Florida the cover just creates a swamp inside
growing black mold on everything. You are better letting the sun hit
it. When I put in my lift, I put the cover on that. Then it stays
pretty dry but it still breathes. I tossed all of the furniture too so
there is not much to go bad anymore.

I have a trailering cover. Snaps along the boat and top of the windshield.
Has a pole to prop up,the center if you are going to be exposed to rain.
This one is at least 10 years old. And still good shape.

The cover I had was a custom job, contracted by the original owner. It
snapped all the way around the rails but, unfortunately the idiot used
brass snaps and they ate the aluminum rails.
