Thanks for the information.
There were 4 ships in the convoy, YP705 - 708 and all were flying the
same set of flags. Just for show as they passed through the canal?

would be interesting to compare/read the flags.

the bottom flag of the four should be different on each craft


I looked close and yes, the bottom flag is different on each.
I will post 4 more photos, a close-up of each ship's flags.
