As you know, Labrador is part of Newfoundland....and in the past, maybe a bit of an overlooked area except for mining, hydro electricity and maybe some isolated hunting and fishing.
Now they are a bit more prominent and the correct name of the province is 'Newfoundland and Labrador.
Labrador has Quebec in between it and the US.

I'd argue that Newfoundland is part of Labrador and not the other way
around. We met a guy at the RNSYS last year who takes his family and
cruises the coast of Labrador on his sailboat every summer. He's a
Computer Science professor at Harvard. Interesting guy, wish we'd had
more time to chat with him.
