Heh. One of the reasons I got out of RV'ing. Too many things to worry
about. I've grown to really like simplicity.
First blow out I had was on the christening voyage to Florida in a brand
new Pace Arrow Class A motorhome. Inner tire on rear blew.
Spent the night in a truck repair parking lot while the replacement was
ordered and delivered.
Pace Arrow was a piece of crap, BTW.
If you go often and go on short trips like John, the RV thing may be
worthwhile but for the once or twice a year guy, a first class plane
ticket, a rental car and a real nice hotel is a lot cheaper.
For those who hate flying and get creeped out by unsanitary
hotels, options are limited.
Easy to avoid unsanitary hotels...just don't book a room anywhere you
have stayed.
You have all his overnight accomodations in your database, eh Harry Krause?
Try reading for understanding. My suggestion was for your buddy...he's
got a list of where he's stayed...all he has to do is avoid those places...
We've got a list of where we've stayed, from Kennebunkport to Key West,
and in California, and if we are staying somewhere new to us, I try to
get a recommendation from a friend. I don't envision us staying in
Beanblossom, Indiana, even though my wife is a fan of modern country music.
Incidentally, if you get up to Kennebunkport, try the Maine Stay Inn.
It's a lovely place, within easy walking distance to lots of nice local
venues. While there, have a meal at Mabel's Lobster Claw, where George
and Barbara Bush ate a lot when his health was better.
