Default How the game is played

Politics is a blood sucking sport, full of innuendo, false claims and
flat out deception, all designed to confuse the public.

Here's a current example:

Leaks to the WashPost and NYTimes recently identified a person "close
to Trump" is under investigation for issues related to "Russia,
Russia, Russia".

They didn't name the "person" ... but gave plenty of hints that it was
Jared Kushner, Trump's son-in-law.

Now, Jared Kushner has been identified as a "person of interest", a
term that has absolutely no legal significance. All it does is create
a negative image of Kushner.

Here's the problem:

Jared Kushner unilaterally *volunteered* to appear before the Senate
Intelligence Committee last month to respond to any questions the
Committee had regarding his involvement in the Trump campaign and/or
administration.

Despite his offer, the Committee never bothered to ask him to testify.

Instead, they wait until the right moment, then leaked to the press that
Kushner is now a "person of interest" and the FBI wants to talk to him.
All this does is create suspicion of wrongdoing that has absolutely no
basis in evidence.

Political games, that's all.

The news reports I saw stated several times that there was "no suspicion
of wrongdoing" in Jared Kushner's political activities on behalf of
his father in law. He is, however, just as sleazy as Donald Trump in his
private business dealings and is, among other things, a notorious
slumlord. Perhaps the FBI is only interested in what Jared heard when he
attended those meetings with the Russians with Mike Flynn.

You are, as usual, jumping to conclusions that have no basis in fact.
In addition, your comments have nothing to do with what I posted. I was
attempting to point out the sleazy political games that are played in
order to paint a negative image of someone before any testimony or
evidence is collected. He *volunteered* last March to testify but
nobody was interested at the time apparently or felt it was important.
But, leak it out to the liberal media and press and suddenly he's a
"person of interest".
