Making comparisons meaningless. Nobody doubts the places that hang off
the DC tit have very high incomes. You also need to look the cost of
living to put all of that in perspective. $100k in DC is nothing like
$100k in Ft Myers or Tampa. You would also have to compare the quality
of life, commute time and other factors.
Yeah, well, I wouldn't want to live in SW Florida. Been to Tampa many
times because of a relative there. Nice beaches. Nothing else
I guess it depends on what you like but 11,000 northerners move to
Florida every day.
Personally I like the idea of beaches without sea nettles, a 12 month
boating season, better weather, less pollution, less crime and less
traffic but you do what you want.
