That is in the eye of the beholder. Lots of people lust for that star
trek look. I am not a huge bullpup fan but it does make a compact
package. The IWI Tavor is not visually pleasing but it is what you
want if you are clearing West Bank homes and shooting people.


I'm pretty much a "traditionalist" when it comes to firearms whose looks
I like. As I only shoot firearms for fun, "practicality" for a specific
non-fun use doesn't enter into my selection processes.

I tend to agree. I do not own anything with a plastic stock and I
chose the M1A over the AR platform when I was looking at center fire
rifles. It is more accurate but more importantly, it delivers more
energy down range if I ever did start trying to kill Bambi again or
just about any other animal on the continent.
