Just think, JohnnyMop, if you were married to someone in the
mental
health field, she'd probably already have you committed for your
seething hatred of blacks, Latinos, gays, and others who offend
your
fake christianity.
Weak.
It doesn't matter what you think about it.
Then why waste your time writing it, weak though it is?
You're not in charge here, nor are you the official arbiter.
Krause, with all your knowledge you should be able to recognize the
difference between a question
and an order. One ends with '?' and the other ends with '.'.
There, now you can answer the question.
And maybe he can learn to see the offering of religious
information as a friendly gesture as opposed to his radical
thinking that they are jamming it down his throat.
There is nothing wrong with offering religious information to those who
seek it. If people want to believe that sort of nonsense, that's their
business. If, however, you are forcing your religious beliefs onto the
public, then you should be arrested.
I suppose that concept could be applied to commercials and
advertisements for products and services on TV, radio and in print.
I don't seek them. I don't ask for them. I think most of them are
nonsense. But they are still forced upon me. I just ignore the vast
majority of them and listen only if I feel like it.
Perhaps you should check out the concept and details of "forcing"
religious beliefs onto the public. If you are selling cars through
advertising, it is easy enough to ignore the advertising, or turn the
page, or change the channel. If you have a shop and you want to stay
open on a Sunday and there are religiously passed and enforced blue laws
extant (and there are and were, though not many these days), those
religious beliefs are being forced on you. Oh, I deliberately chose a
mild example.
Blue laws are archaic laws, not religious beliefs. Learn to know
the difference, if you are smart enough.
You are as ignorant of history as your boy, Trump. Blue laws came about
as a result of religious beliefs.
Perhaps you don't understand the difference between a law
and a
belief. You might be able to influence a change in the law but by
golly, an asshole like you isn't going to change anyone's belief
system. Good example of that is how successful were you at
converting Karen's protestant beliefs into nothingism? Yup, words
have meaning. Get it?
Tou aren't worth the bit of effort needed to explain this to you.
Blue laws came about as a result of religious beliefs, true, but today
they are pretty much archaic which is also true. Even in those few
states that technically still have them on the books, they aren't taken
seriously or even enforced in some cases.
Times change Harry. Religious influences change. You seem to be the
only one here still hung up on it. Good thing you didn't exist in 1760.
