Anyone who knew a GI in the 60s always had plenty. I still have some
50+ year old P-38s. My old roomie (marine) had accumulated a cigar box
full and he was handing them out all the time. It is still a handy
tool. I am not sure what grade of steel they are but I have never bent
one trying to get a screw out. I wish my screwdrivers were that tough.
Mine's only 49 years old. Just a baby.
