Looks like The John might be a Death Bed Christian.
He can do anything he likes right up till the end and then get absolved of his sins through what we called Extreme Unction....or the Last Rites. Quite a gamble...might not be a priest around at the time. Afterall...how many would be seen at a Bluegrass Festival?
