"Proving Trump colluded in Russian hacking is the Democrats' Holy
Grail. Will the Sessions
revelations help them?"
From his posts, this is probably Harry's 'Holy Grail' also.
Funny!
Senator Sessions: "Happy Holidays, Ambassador".
Russian Ambassador: "Same back atcha, Senator".
Pelosi: "I demand Sessions' resignation."
Just for the record, here's another member (Claire McCaskill -D) of the
Senate Armed Services Committee who claimed to have *never* met with the
Russian Ambassador.
McCASKILL: "I've been on the Senate Armed Services Committee for 10
years, and in that time, have had no call from, or meeting with, the
Russian ambassador. Ever."
But, here's a couple of tweets she made:
The first, on Jan. 30, 2013, says: "Off to meeting w/Russian Ambassador."
Then, on Aug. 6, 2015, "Today calls with British, Russian and German
Ambassadors Iran deal."
She should resign and take Pelosi, Warren and Schumer with her.
Lying is OK if you're an FPL, or if your name is Krause. Oh wait, that's redundant.
One of the cable news outlets (I think it was FoxNews) just ran the
long version and full video of Sessions being questioned by Al Franken
during Sessions' confirmation hearings. Franken cited a new report (it
had just come out) by CNN that claimed that Russian "operatives" had
damning evidence on Trump and that Trump campaign surrogates had been
meeting regularly with the Russian operatives regarding this evidence.
Franken then asked Sessions that if the CNN story was true, had he
participated in these "meetings".
Sessions said he knew nothing about it, had not met with any Russians
and could not comment on it.
*This* is the context of the idiotic claims the disposable Democrats are
making now. Sessions *did* briefly meet the Russian ambassador twice in
his role as a member of the Senate Armed Service Committee, something
that is routine and had nothing to do with "Russian operatives" and
damning "evidence" they claimed to have on Trump.
Pull the plug. Drain the swamp.
At least one of those occasions was a large social gathering with at
least a dozen ambassadors from around the world.
Franken asked if he met with the Russians regards the campaign. Seems as
if he answered correctly. He met because of his Senate committee, not the
campaign. Listening to the talk shows on my down to SoCal, most
conveniently left out the campaign part.
