CBS says America was going to drink 300,000,000 gallons of beer on
Sunday. There are only about 250 million legal age people here so that
is over a gallon each (14 beers or so).
I certainly was not holding up my end.

During my younger days I enjoyed beer a lot. Probably too much
sometimes. Now, I probably drink two or three beers a year.
I have a 12 pack in the 'fridge that I bought last July. There are
still 8 of them left. I had two and a friend had two last summer.

I take 4 with me in the boat and usually get home with 1 or 2 unopened
but yesterday I was a wild man,. I had 3 in the boat and 2 more
watching the game.

I had to laugh this morning. My brother (who is an avid Patriots fan)
was so disgusted at halftime with the game that he said screw it and
went to bed.

His wife told me that he got up this morning and, while pouring his
coffee, asked her, "so what was the final score?". When she told him
that the Pats had won in overtime he didn't believe her.
He thought she was messing with his head and had to put on the news to
be convinced. Then, he was bull****.

I had the same thing. We went to bed right after Gaga.
I had one of those stats bet sheets that my wife and I bet on and it
was a push. We both got 6 right.
