Association...it's not intrusive." Here's an idea: why not ask me again,

I am simply trying to find out how intrusive it actually is. If they
have a deed covenant (mandatory participation, lien authority etc)


Why do you care so much? Are you planning to buy a house in our little
subdivision? Don't you think you are more than a little over the top on
