I want to remember my Great-Great Grandfather who fought in the Union

My Grandfather was in the United States Army Field Artillery during
WWI.

Our Dad was a WWII and Korean War vet. When he passed we found among his
belongings 2 purple hearts, a Phillippines Service medal, a POW medal
and last but not least a Navy Cross. We don't know what he did to be
awarded our nations second highest award but we are all grateful for his
service.

To all our vets THANK YOU.





That's impressive! He never talked about them? There must be a way to
look up his service record. Your Dad was a true hero!
