McMullin's mom was a lesbian and that he is gay. Even if true, I don't
know why anyone would care.

They are talking to Mormons, that will hurt.

Perhaps there should be ads reminding voters
that Trump is an admitted sexual predator with 12 women and witnesses
testifying he has groped them or worse, and another with a witness has
claimed Trump raped her.

Guys like McMullin (and Johnson) do not have the money to actually
counter an ad like that.
Even in a small market like Utah, it could easily be $100k (or more)
to put up a state wide ad blitz if you only ran it a few days.
I doubt there is anyone in Utah who hasn't heard about Trump's grope
and brag stuff anyway. That is why McMullin is a player.
