Nicely anchored in a really beautiful marsh, 9 miles north of St
Augie. We saw lots of serious dock damage in the JAX area and there
are some good sized timbers floating around just to make life
interesting. There are also a fair number of 30 something sailboats
aground and abandoned along the ICW, most with very visible sail and
canvas damage. Every one is a heartache for some unfortunate owner.

Sounds like when I was a kid and we traveled up the eastern seaboard to Cap May. Don't know which hurricane had gone through the area but there were blown out buildings and boats washed up by the highway. We even saw some Chris craft -like cruisers stabbed through billboards.

When the tornado hit my condo in Treasure Island (off St Pete) a
pontoon tied to the dock was broken up and scattered down the seawall.
One of the pontoons was in a neighbor's living room, making short work
of some "roll safe" shutters. I think the shutters cost more than the
boat.
