You have to wonder how many people get dinged with this sneaky maneuver.

Amazon Prime is actually a pretty good deal if you buy a lot of stuff
with them. In addition to the free 2 day shipping you also get free
access to a lot of their online music and movies among other things.
Yup, if you stream TV and buy a lot online it is a great deal.
Somewhere around a dozen items a year or less, it starts to not make
much sense. Between work and home my wife gets something 3 or 4 times
a week. That is also expedited shipping, overnight to 2 days depending
on when you get the order in. It really makes sense on small items
where the shipping would be as much as the product.

You do get plenty of warning that you are buying prime but you have to
read what you are clicking.

It might be a problem for the elderly or mentally disabled. I hope
Amazon has a policy to return their money.
