If it works as advertised, probably yes. For hull inspection you'd
need very good video resolution and auxilliary lighting since it tends
to be dark underneath most boats.

I'm no suggesting it would replace a diver or a haul-out, but could be handy if one might hit something or do a quick view, that's it. Besides I high energy lights would probably come along too as options...


I am seeing a lot about underwater LEDs over on the real boat board.
It would not be hard to rig lights on a sub.
