I am right in the middle of that culture here in northern Michigan.
Lots of hunters here
Might be "sporting" if the deer could be trained and armed to shoot back...
I don't really have a dog in this fight. I don't hunt. We walked about
5 miles today in the Manistee national forest but we didn't see anyone
shooting or really anything to shoot at. Yesterday we were near
Cadillac in a game preserve near Mitchell SP and the red squirrels
were pretty thick. I doubt the seasons are open here yet. They do
have hunter classes running in a lot of places.
Most of us don't hunt. But, I don't think those who do are 'bad' people for doing so. That's where
the dog in the fight comes in.
It's typical Krause, denigrating those who participate in an activity he doesn't enjoy.
Krowsie doesn't have the stomoch for killing but he sure does like
eating the kill.
I don't eat beef, rabbit, squirrel, rat, et cetera.
Chickens and pigs can't shoot back either.
