My opinion
Again, how christian of you.
Maybe he also read the first few books of the Bible too.
Tim is not even asking for the death penalty, just the life sentence
Hinkley deserves for first degree murder. They could retry him now for
murdering Brady since he is cured and is able to assist in his
defense. He was never charged with that so double jeopardy is not an
issue.
Ahh, another christian...(probably not).
I guess you don't know much about the history of the christians.
Jesus may have been the only one who ever turned the other cheek and
you think he is a fantasy.
They have been vengeful SOBs for the last ~2000 years.
Indeed, I suppose it is naive of me to think that christians are
supposed to be those who follow the teachings of jesus.
“Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin
against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I
say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.”
Matthew 18:21-22
That was the legend of Jesus. I imagine someone in his posse would cut
their heart out and eat it.
I guess you never heard Gore Vidal analyse the actual things Jesus was
supposed to have done. Do you think the money changers left quietly?
Vidal proposes that Jesus must have had an armed gang.
In those days crucifixion was reserved for enemies of the state but
that was a pretty low bar.
