Are you suggesting that they should have just started firing blindly
at anything that they thought looked threatening?
Perhaps we should be demanding that your CCW be revoked if you have
such a poor understanding about the legal use of force.
At least one of those guys actually turned his gun over to the first
cop he saw because he did not want to be shot by the cops.
