The John is showing the classic symptoms of being punch drunk.
I'm afraid we've been a little too rough on his delicate condition. Notice how he flails away at any perceived insult. His instigating, agitating and enabling are over the top.
I hope we don't have another Skipper on our hands. Don't know if I could handle the guilt.
