Yes I bought one. A used 1983 Honda Aspencade with only 23xxx miles on it.. Nice bike I bought well cheap too. Missus and I logged 180 miles Sunday afternoon. Man was it hot. But she loved the ride and was impressed at how smooth and quiet this macbine is. It's no speed demon even though Honda boasts of 81 hp from the 1100cc engine, but the beast also weighs about 750 lb dry too. Anyhow I had it up to 80 which warrented a tough in the ribs. So..,
Oh this bike has some quirks but it's 33 years old too. Nothing that can't be reasonably handled though. After work I'm planning on goofing off maybe another hundred miles tonight. I love it!
I bought a 1984 GL1200 with about 65k on the clock last fall and ride it every chance I get.

I commute 50 miles each way to work and take it every day I can. I'm okay with the saddle but it has Markland aftermarket floorboards with are not the best when a lot of shifting or braking is involved. I'm going to put some pegs on it and see how I like it.
Considering this thing was new when I last rode I still consider it drool worthy.

It certainly is drool worthy. Problem is my seat sits to low for me and il riding right on my proverbial "butt bone"
I'm gong to stack cushions on it or find something else that sits higher.
