I've got a small crack, about 2", in the side of the drivers seat. The
side that takes all the heat
when I enter or leave the truck.
Anyone used any of the leather repair kits on the market?
Yes.
Wise ass.
Just payback. Probably 'cause I said he could use the girl's bathroom
now. I didn't mean that he was
'girlish' or anything.
It was kinda a wise ass response but intended for humor. I remember
using some sort of automotive leather repair kit many, many years ago
and my recollection was that it worked ok, at least for a while. I just
can't remember what it was. You might trying checking with a furniture
store. I recently bought a new Lazy Boy couch and it came with a
"repair kit" but it isn't leather. It's some sort of microfiber fabric.
I know...as was my girlie Ranger truck response.
I was hoping someone would tell me they'd fixed it in two minutes with
super glue or some damn
thing. I may just walk over to Auto Zone and see what they've got.
Duct tape will always work, right?
Always!
Camouflage tape. Then will not see it.
Well, I have changed the way I ingress and egress the damn thing. Now I use the step and get over
the center of the seat before sitting. I'm tall enough I could just put my butt on the edge of the
seat and slide over. But I'm thinking the side of the seat isn't meant to take that. Learn something
new every day.
Bony ass with sharp edges?
Nope. According to this, I'm at the upper end of normal weight for 6'3" and 187lbs.

Are you in the green?
If his ass is as fat as his melon shaped head, I'd doubt it.
