I really do not have any problem sleeping on a plane and
that is how I deal with long flights. I put something soothing on my
MP3 player and sack out. My wife is frustrated when I wake up rested
and ready for anything. We may have a couple hour drive after landing
on our vacations so it works out fine.
I have a hard time sleeping. Seats do not fit me. To short in the
backrest. Being 6'4" is not good for airline seating.
Fly up front.
To cheap on a lot of flights, and unless a jumbo, the seats are still hard
to sleep in. Best sleep, was a trip to Hong Kong, and only 125 passengers
on a 747sp. Had business class, but went back to coach and had 5 seats
across in the back of the plane. Probably 7 good hours of sleep.
