Most of the newer cars will automatically pair up with your phone via
blue tooth. I have many gigs of music stored on the phone and it
starts playing when I get in the car. If a call comes in on the
phone, the car automatically mutes the music and switches to hands
free phone mode.
My wife does that in her Lincoln. She also gets I heart radio on the
phone so she can listen to Bob and Tom in the morning.
The Blaupunct in my Honda knows how to do that but I never carry my
phone. I just have a few different versions of my tunes in it.
I have a MP3 CD with a bunch, a SD card with another mix and usually a
thumb drive or two with other mixes. I can get pretty much any mix of
music I want to hear with minimal intervention.
I still miss my jukebox PCs tho. If I really want to hear one
particular song, it is tough without taking your eyes off the road.
The PC ran off a 10 key.
