Some people are more concerned about the environment than looking like a big shot.
Are you attacking me or Luddite? He has had some very nice cars that
were much better than my Z4 and ML550.
If someone gave me a Z3, I'd take it. But I'm not wild about the styling of the Z4.
Maybe I'm just a 'softy'.

Which year? They have changed a lot. It's the wife's car, anyway. I
wanted her to get the SL550. It's larger and safer, IMO.
I don't know which year. Did the Z3 undergo significant design changes during its production? I'll admit that I'd take the SL550, or even the SL400 if offered.
I was referring to the Z4. It was a rag top and now a retractable
hardtop (interesting engineering!).
You wouldn't fit well in any of them. They are all very small cars.
I'm 6'4" and avoid driving that car whenever possible. It's not only
small inside, it's LOW.
****. Here I thought the BMW's might have a lot more leg room than the Boxster or
Miata. So far, that Karman Ghia I had in Germany wins in the leg room contest. Even
my wife's Jetta has a lot of leg room, although it is low also. I used to be 6'4",
but now have to stretch to get to 6'3".
