You might be surprised how his insights could help your personal life..
What personal problems has he helped you with? I can't think of any I'm needing help
with right now, but I'd probably not be looking for help from someone like Dr. Phil.
But hey, he got his start from Oprah Winfrey, so his 'insights' must be accurate, eh?

You don't like Oprah, eh? I like her...she seems to be a very decent,
helping person. My wife gets her magazine and I usually browse through
it. I don't have much use for Dr. Phil, though.
Don't know if I like her or not. Haven't seen her for several years. Last time I saw
her she was interviewing some woman who was hetero, lesbian, and bisexual.. She would
switch every year or so. She kinda shot the 'born with it' idea out the window. Oprah
didn't appear very happy with her answers to some of the questions. That was several
years ago.
I can't imagine anyone getting help with personal problems by watching Dr.. Phil. I'm
guessing watching Oprah would provide about the same service.

Ban liars, tax cheats, juvenile name-callers, and narcissists...not guns!
never saw much future in watching programs from the likes of Oprah to Phil to Povich, or Springer, where people get on there and air out their dirty laundry for drama and ratings sake, like I needed that kind of stuff.
