The ones I have seen do both in separate displays. When we are
renting, I usually put it on "miles to empty". That is the one you
really need to watch out west when stations are few and far between.
Yeah, I push the button again to get 'range'. It's pretty accurate, but it's based on
the current mileage, not the old average. Sometimes, if I'm pulling the trailer, the
range may be 200 miles. Then I'll drop off the trailer and after a few miles the
range will increase. Weird, but it makes sense.
