Greg, a guy on the Moto Guzzi forum has a WWII Moto Guzzi motorcycle. During the war
this bike had a Breda Mod 30 machine gun mounted thereon. He would like to find one.
Any ideas where he could search?

This one is ornamental

I forgot all about this POS but once I started looking I remembered
this was similar to the Jap type 11 that American Rifleman profiled a
few weeks ago on TV. It feeds from stripper clips and uses oiled
cartridges. (on board cartridge oiler)
That might be great for a range guy under controlled circumstances but
horrible in the field.

de-milled and 2,500.? Wow!

I also saw some that went for $3600-4800 (DEWAT)
That is why I suggested a functional, transferrable B-30 might be up
in Benz money. My guess is they were such pieces of crap that people
just wanted them as wall hangers and did the DEWAT deal so they were
easier to import and transfer. Now you can't go back. The only way
they could be imported after 1968 was DEWAT and remanufacture (REWAT)
was cut off in 86.
A working one must be rare.
