Sorry, I root for the snake ;-)

For the most part, snakes are preferable to the things they eat.
Arizona went nuts trying to kill all of the rattlesnakes, now the
state plant the saguaro cactus is endangered because of the rodent
problem.


From what I see and hear, you're about to lose the Everglades!


That is not a native snake. Just about every introduced species turns
out badly.
I am sure that if they would remove the restrictions on the American
sportsman, they would put a dent in the population. They just have too
many rules for it to be effective now. To start with, you can't kill
them. You have to live catch them and let the FWC kill them.
