Romanowski was way out of line. But I wonder why the author of the
story had to throw this line in:
"At a time when Donald Trump is a popular candidate for president, how
can we be surprised?"
To me that line detracts from the whole story...another liberal
calling someone 'racist'. I agree
the comment was inappropriate, given the racial connotations, but the
comment could well have been
made because of the childish attitude displayed by Newton.
I would tend to assume it was the latter reason unless given a reason
to think otherwise.
I'm not going to sit here and say there is no racism out there... Of
course there is. But when the over-sensitive call EVERYTHING racist,
even when it isn't, it detracts from legitimate occurrences.
It also doesn't help when the liberals only acknowledge one kind of
racism. Ever listen to the Black Panthers, or read about their history?
They are just the black version of the KKK.
Your comparison of the Klan to the Black Panthers indicates you don't
know much about the history of either group. The Klan was and is the
more horrific organization as the Klan itself and its transmogrification
into white supremacy and militia groups.
