Romanowski was way out of line. But I wonder why the author of the story had to throw this line in:

"At a time when Donald Trump is a popular candidate for president, how can we be surprised?"

To me that line detracts from the whole story...another liberal calling someone 'racist'. I agree
the comment was inappropriate, given the racial connotations, but the comment could well have been
made because of the childish attitude displayed by Newton.
