Funny stuff coming from two guys whose "conservative" political party
has thrown up for the presidential nomination nothing but dog whistle
blowing assholes like Trump and Cruz, the current leaders, Ben Carson,
who seems to know nothing, Marco Rubio, who doesn't show up for his own
campaign events, and a pack of never weres and never wills. And
apparently Cruz is ahead of Trump among the Iowa evangelicals.

Oh, wait...the Republican conservative movement will be saved by...Jeb Bush!

I heard Ed Rollins saying if they end up in a brokered convention
(possible if not likely), they might dust off Romney again.

If they do he'll be just as much of a stiff the second time.

I agree but at least he is not nuts.
Ed was making the point that the old establishment still wants to have
a voice and the other people on the panel were saying the
establishment is exactly what the Trump and Sanders people are
rebelling against.
I do think that if this doesn't get some kind of sense pretty soon the
GOP may go the way of the Whigs. They lost me over 2 decades ago and I
think more people are poised to jump. The only question is "where"?
They are not going to become democrats.

I also keep reminding myself, this is still silly season where we have
contemplated Herman Cain, Buchanan, Gingrich and any number of other
folks who were gone by Easter. The democrats have a rich history of
obscure whackos a year out too. Nobody has cast a single vote yet and
talking heads are already making predictions..
