Ah Ditzy....you should stick to what little you do know....and that would be paying top dollar for useless firearms.
I totally rinse down my boat and motor plus I flush it both ways with fresh water after each and every use on salt water.

As far as boating...I have no need to lie about whatever I do. This was my annual last cruise in fresh water before the local park closes at Thanksgiving. There are other lakes but this one is the biggest and has the best combination of ramp, floating dock and parking area. As far as backing the trailer in...I'm getting quite good at it.
