I mostly shoot standing up or from a bench, Tim. I prefer shooting
offhand and sometimes sitting down at a bench with the firearm on a
rest. I don't have a reason to plop down on the group and shoot.

I don't either, but it's good to have that option. Think "Hawkins" position.

I'll keep that in mind for when the zombie squirrels and groundhogs are
marching down the street towards the house.

If your area is infested with stuff like that then maybe you should.
either that or just stay insside. itd be safer

Oh, we have squirrels, groundhogs, foxes, raccoons, possums, deer, and
maybe even coyotes and bears...but happily no hunters active in the
immediate area. 😀
