He's already shooting a foot off the ground and having to raise the rifle just to service the lever. I can shoot and cock a 303 Brit bolt action in prone with the barrel elevated about 5-6 inches or approx the height of your fist under the stock. and yes, your head is low. really low. and shots are good up to 150 yd.s
I can't operate a leaver at that height.
In fairness to Harry you are talking about combat shooting or hunting
and Harry just busts water bottles. They are real easy to sneak up on.
Indeed, I rarely find myself under attack by groundhogs and squirrels
100 or more yards away, and therefore have little need of dropping to
the ground so I can blow them away with a .303 bolt action rifle. Gosh,
how much of those tasty critters is left when you kill them with that .303?
Hey, I shoot more than sodapop bottles. I'm the proud 1/5th owner of
some steel targets and, of course, a slew of paper targets.
