A refugee and an immigrant .. legal or not ... are two completely
different situations.


That distinction is blurred when you are talking about latinos from
central America or even some areas of Mexico.

Exactly what do you think the difference is other than the box you
check on the visa application?

We have called Cubans refugees for 55 years but most come here for
purely economic reasons, just like the Mexicans.
