Sometimes a dog food brand gets a bad rap (the dog gets sick) because
the owner switches brands abruptly. A dog's digestive system gets used
to one type of food and can't make a fast change to another.
If changing brands, it's best to start by mixing the new with the old
over the course of a week or so, slowing increasing the percentage of
"new". Gives the dog an opportunity to adjust to the new dog food.
