You're not very bright. "Talk" about religion doesn't bother me at all,
so long as the talker is not trying to shove his/her religious beliefs
onto our society/country. I am reasonably well-versed in the beliefs of
several religions, and can intelligently discuss some aspects of them.

As an example, it is fine with me if an observant Catholic friend opposes
abortion and wants to discuss why. He or she can refuse abortion services
for family members if they wish, and I would make no effort verbally or
legally to force such a procedure on anyone. But I would strenuously
object to that friend's efforts to close down clinics and make it
difficult for others to obtain an abortion if they wanted one.
